It was great attending the Hereford College of Arts fresher fair to welcome students to Hereford and Matrix!

Had an afternoon of gaming for my adult daughter's birthday, even though her husband had messed up the booking?!?!!The staff at Matrix did a great job of rearranging the booking, being very accommodating and flexible. We took part in a number of activities including axe throwing and neon-golf.The professionalism of the staff, their instruction and ensuing our safety was brilliant. Once the briefing had been completed were left to get on with the activities. Safety is important to the Matrix staff, which was reflected in their attentiveness!We didn't eat, but we did have a drink, with prices comparable to other local venues.Definitely recommend the Matrix, and not just because I won all the competitions....Thanks to Terry, Jamie and the rest of the staff for a great afternoon.

Went with my parents. Played fantastic UV lit mini golf and had a game of pool after. Relaxed environment. Seemed like a good place for groups of teenagers or families

We had a great laugh at Matrix axe throwing and playing mini golf. Atmosphere was great, the staff were great and Jamie who hosted/helped us with the axe throwing was amazing! Will definately be returning!

Visited the Matrix Today and spent a fun afternoon doing mini golf and playing in the retro arcades! Kids absolutely loved it - have to say staff were really friendly and welcoming - doesn't happen everywhere so the team here deserve alot of credit.

My daughter had a laser tag party there and the kids loved it. The staff are all really friendly and the use of the party room is great with the ping ping tables.

I wanted to go axe throwing for a fun date idea and was so excited. We turned up 5 minutes late because of traffic on the roads and got rejected on entry. I tried asking for a refund as it’s a crazy amount of money to waste and got refused. Never going back…

Had a great time at The Hereford Matrix! The atmosphere was relaxed but still had plenty going on. We made good use of the photo booth, which was loads of fun, and also had a few games of pool.The staff were brilliant. Ruby, who was working behind the till, was super friendly, and Emilee was great to chat to—both really made us feel welcome.Overall, a really enjoyable visit. Definitely somewhere I'd come back.

Had a great day out in Hereford yesterday with my family, Thank god for the air conditioning, staff were super friendly especially ruby who took us on the mini golf, 10/10 would 100% recommend and will be coming back, (BEERS ARE GREAT)

Poor customer service. My family booked golf and ping pong. The ping pong cost £20 for 2 people for 3/4 of an hour with 2 balls one of which was broken. When asked to replace a ball they refused? And said it was only meant to supply 1 ball. It was very quiet on the day we visited and it really would have been no extra effort to change a broken ball but it seems reputation and customer experience isn't valued by them. Best avoided. You can have a better experience elsewhere.

If you’re visiting Hereford you have to pay a visit to Matrix for some axe throwing. My other half had always wanted to try it so we did! Jamie was great when we came in asking how to book, he was really friendly and helpful advising us to book online and check out some of the bundle offers etc. We we returned the next day, Ali got us set up with the Axe throwing, helping us with some hints and tips on hitting the target and was just friendly and chatty. We also had a go at the mini golf, which was fun (could do with some more interesting obstacles though) The whole place was a lot of fun, and not ridiculously over priced. They had a good selection of drinks and some food, the little arcade had some great games including the 2p slot sliders!It was just an all round great experience (so great in fact we went back the next day to do some MORE axe throwing - yeah, the other half REALLY enjoyed it 😂)!

Booked laser tag for 5 teens and couldn’t ask for more! The session was fun and engaging and all the staff were incredibly welcoming, especially Ruby who supervised our session. Will definitely return.

On arriving my daughter was greeted by ‘Your shoes are awful!’ I thought that was a very rude comment to make to a paying customer and not a nice way to be greeted by a member of staff. Shame as it put a bit of a dampener on my daughters afternoon celebrating her birthday 😢

Took the Mrs Axe throwing last weekend and she was hopeless to start with but after some pointers from Jamie she vastly improved. great venue and staff 5 stars from me

I had a great time here with my niece and nephew. They were a bit shy around the other kids, but Jamie was instrumental in ensuring that they had fun. He made them laugh and kept their nerves at bay by calming down a bunch of kids who were a little out of control, demonstrating more patience than I ever could. I will definitely come back.

We were made to feel very unwelcome (by everyone apart from the lovely girl with the blonde hair) and weren’t allowed to sing happy birthday to my son on his 11th birthday! The activity (laser quest) was fun but the floors were very slippery. After spending £250 on food and a private room I was very disappointed.

Me and some mates went for the walk in approach for some good old laser tag, games were good fun overall. Staff are super friendly, (Jamie who was helping us out at the time gave our group a Kevin Bacon No. of 3 absolute bizzare theory look it up!). Game was so good we decided to stay for mini-golf after a panicked sprint through hereford to extend our parking tickets 😅. Overall good fun with mates and Just overall a great hangout spot. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had my son’s 9th Birthday at the Zombie Laser Tag. All the kids had a fantastic time! The party room was great with plenty of space, table tennis, music and air con. The staff couldn’t be anymore helpful and friendly. Excellent communication. Would highly recommend! Thank you Matrix Hereford.

Great fun in the indoor lazer chamber , enjoyed the axe throwing too ! Very reasonable priced . Caters for young children with many options including crazy golf highlighted with illuminous lighting . Suitable for autism children. 👍🏽 they also have snack food and drinks .

Jamie on the front desk was exceptional! He made our bookings easy, hilarious with instructions, and made sure we maximised our day with additional games and drinks! We had tonnes of fun playing mini golf and zombie laser tag! Would definitely recommend a visit here, great for all ages!

Group of 4, 1st visit and was thoroughly impressed with the price and facilities.We tried our luck at a walk in booking for axe throwing and got an earlier slot than the website had which was awesome.The price was great for the time we had (roughly an hour) but they were not in a rush for us to finish so could have stayed much longer.Bar was next to the axe throwing area and we were allowed to drink and had a laugh with the staff.The staff were all extremely helpful and introduced us to the axe throwing area.We were hosted by Jamie who showed us the ropes and the set up and gave plenty of tips and advice. His patience with semi drunk lads on a birthday outing was very impressive!The games were on an interactive projection over a board with a selection of different style point scoring or themed games.We stuck to the standard as the others seemed a bit advanced for our shoddy aim.All in all a great place for a small group and would definitely go back to have another go.

Booked the zombie laser tag party package for my sons 9th birthday and all the boys had a fantastic time. Jamie did a brilliant job looking after the boys in the arena and was also attentive to us making sure we had everything we needed for when they came out. All the staff we came across were excellent, very happy, welcoming and easy to talk to, nothing was too much and always smiling which is great! Brilliant afternoon. would defiantly recommend!

Really great people in there, nice seating area at the back of the premises by the bar which is more adult and great if you are on a hen or stag do. They were really good in teaching us technique on how to throw and axe and it was good fun.

The range of activities is brilliant and all the staff were lovely, especially Jamie who was very helpful and funny and made us feel really welcome and valued. This place was just wonderful. Passing through Hereford on a rainy day trying to find something to do with my daughterLoads of options here. Staff were beyond helpful and friendly. Had my first game of mini golf with my daughter. So much more to try with older children and adults though. Fully recommend this place, it's a lot of fun

What a great place! Travelled to Hereford for a girls day out and thought we'd give Matrix a try - so glad we did! Such a fun place with great staff and plenty to do. We opted for mini golf and laser tag and Jamie looked after us, he was really friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our visit, definitely worth the trip! 😊
